It was so nice to take a trip to Temple Square the week before conference. Rachel got to touch the Salt Lake Temple and see the Conference Center where "the prophet speaks." We also took a detour to check out the new City Creek--very fun, too.

After looking in the Friend Magazine and seeing the Church History Museum's new Exhibit, "A Children's Celebracion of the Book of Mormon," I really wanted to take the kids. It is so cute! The exhibit is only open through the end of the year, so I'm really glad we made it there.

They have a place where kids can dress up in Mexican clothes and learn a traditional dance. Rachel had fun waving her big skirt. Grandma Monson even dressed up with her.

Looking at a replica of the gold plates.

Building a wall like the one Samuel the Lamanite climbed on. This is the only part that James got out of his stroller to have some fun.

Playing on Nephi's ship.

Looking at the Angel Moroni replica. (In the adult part of the museum.) Grandma and Grandpa Monson came to Salt Lake with us. We also spent a few days at their house and had a really great visit.

I've been wanting to go to the Book of Mormon exhibit too! It looks awesome. I also think that is so cool that Rachel was featured in the newspaper - it will be fun to look back at it!
We have never been there! It looks like fun! You weren't by chance out in our neighborhood driving around were you?? Someone told us there was a car driving around from Idaho and that they had family in our neighborhood...The Robertsons! =)
Keri, nope, it wasn't us. Hopefully you don't have stalkers. :)
